President Matt Smith and the board of the Zillmere Eagles are proud to announce the appointment of our new senior coach to lead the club in 2020, David Bugeja.
David comes to the club with a terrific coaching resume, and has big plans to lead the club back to finals footy next season. The last two seasons “Budgie” has been an assistant coach at Redcliffe with their senior side. He has also coached Sandgate’s Colts team in 2016, been an assistant coach at Sandgate in the QAFL, coached Sandgate’s reserve grade in 2013 and was an assistant in Sandgate’s reserve grade premiership win in 2011.
The club would like to welcome David, his wife Lauren and his kids to the Eagles family.
